There was a mistake on the names on two of the four tickets I purchased. Can this be rectified prior to our visit?

Hey Howdy Hey Wilfred and welcome to planDisney!

Thank you for stopping by with your question about your tickets. I am sorry to hear there was an issue with spelling the names of a couple of your party members. This should be an easy fix. Let's get to it!

There are a few things to consider when it comes to tickets, so let's start first by linking them to your My Disney Experience account. If you purchased your theme park tickets from somewhere other than the Walt Disney World Resort site, you might have had to put names on the tickets to complete the purchase. With the confirmation number you were given or the ticket ID themselves, you can use this to link to your My Disney Experience account. Simply log onto your account and from the main screen highlight the ticket icon until a blue button appears to "Link Tickets". This is where you would plug in the information.

Once you link the ticket to your My Disney Experience account, you are then able to assign the tickets to the appropriate member of your party. As long as their My Disney Experience account is up to date, you should be all set and not have to worry about the specific name on the ticket. You can reassign the ticket to someone else at any time, so sometimes the original person on the ticket is not the one that attends the park visit, this is OK and as long as you are the main person there, you should not have an issue.

After you link all of the tickets appropriately, you can double-check your work through the My Disney Experience app as well. From the home screen, go to the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section and look for the heading "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker". There, you should see all of the tickets linked to your account as well as the members of your party they are assigned to. This will ensure they are linked appropriately and all set for the big day.

If you did purchase your tickets which you can link to your My Disney Experience account but are "Will Call", these may need to be activated before usage. If you wanted to make sure everything was in perfect order with the name situations, you can call Disney at (407) 934-7639 and speak to a Cast Member about your situation as they will be the only ones that can change the name specified on the tickets.

I hope this helped to clear up a few things and get you all set for your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth! Please feel free to reach back out with any questions you may have, we would be happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Nick
