I misspelled a guest name by 1 letter on the ticket for a future trip. How can I fix this? My friend is giving me a hard time about messing up her name.

Welcome to planDisney, Calyx. Thanks for stopping by with your question for us.

So glad to hEAR you’re planning an upcoming trip to the Happiest Place on Earth, Calyx! Like so many people, I cannot wait to skip down Main Street, U.S.A., go on some of my favorite attractions and just take in all the much-needed Disney magic!

Calyx, in order to change the spelling of a name, you will need to call Disneyland Resort Technical Support at (714) 520-6222 or Disneyland Ticket Services at (714) 781-4636. There may be a bit of a wait time before connecting to a Cast Member, but your patience is greatly appreciated. Cast Members are working diligently to ensure you and all Guests have the best experience. Hopefully all your ticket issues will be squared away promptly so that you don’t encounter any issues at the entrance or be turned away due to an incorrect name. As you probably know by now, during the initial phased reopening of Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, only California residents are allowed to visit based on state guidelines. Cast Members at the entrance may require Guests to present valid identification to show proof of California residency. Thus, it will be important that the name on your ticket matches the name on your identification card.

If you have further questions with planning your upcoming trip, please don’t hesitate to write us again!

    See ya real soon,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
