Is mission space like a teacups ride or a scrambler/tilt-a-whirl ride?

Hello and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, or rather should I say; This is ground control to Janice!
In my humble opinion Mission: SPACE is the absolute polar opposite type of Attraction to the Mad Tea Party, although you are quite correct when you ask is it a tilt-a-whirl ride
Guests must be 44'' or taller to live their dream of being launched into space just like an astronaut on Mission: SPACE. This enclosed, shuttle simulator Attraction is billed as a thrill ride experience very close to what NASA-style training would be like.
If you ask me Mission: SPACE is not for the faint hearted, although my teenage children absolutely love it and always insist it's their favorite Attraction at Epcot!
With this in mind Mission: SPACE offers Guests two different levels of experience:
    - The Orange Team uses a centrifuge (something which rotates around a fixed axis) to give Guests an authentic G-force style launch and re-entry.
     - The Green Team gives Guests a less intense experience that does not rotate, but in my own experience I can assure you it's still rather thrilling!
Suffers of motion sickness may perhaps wish to avoid hearing 'Houston we have a problem' - so if you think you might not enjoy spinning around definitely opt for the Green Team before trying the Orange Team
If I can help sprinkle a little extra pixie or even space dust onto your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation please pop back to ask me another question.
Over and out and have a great Disney day.
