we missed a lot of our time during the park closing for our silver annual pass what is disney doing to compensate for this...are they adding time to our passes or lifting block out dates

    Hi Kiernan,

Welcome to a fellow Floridian and Florida Resident passholder! I'm happy to help you with your question about the Silver Pass.

I'm a long-time Silver Passholder and use the monthly payment plan available for Florida residents, which my family finds to be an easy way to spread the cost of our frequent Walt Disney World visits throughout the year. When the theme parks closed, our monthly payments were suspended and remained suspended until the parks reopened.

Passholders like us have two options. As I understand it, Walt Disney World automatically will resume our payments this month and keep our original expiration date. We won't need to pay for the months the parks were closed. That is the default option and the one my family chose.

If you prefer, you can call V.I.PASSHOLDER Support at (407) 939-7277 and ask to have your expiration date extended by the number of days the parks were closed. In that case, once your monthly payments resume, they will continue through the new expiration month.

If your pass was paid in full, the expiration date automatically will be extended by the number of days the parks were closed.

Blockout dates remain in effect. Silver Passholders such as you and me can return to the parks beginning August 7. Please remember that park capacity is currently limited as part of enhanced health and safety measures. For the time being, all guests, including passholders, will use the Disney Park Pass reservation system to choose one park a day, based on availability.

I hope that helps, Kiernan. Please feel free to check back if you have other questions. We're always here to assist with all your planning questions.
