Hiya Tony,
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for submitting your question to us!
I’m sorry you were not able to make your original
Disneyland Resort vacation dates! However, as long as the
theme park ticket is unused, you can make a new park reservation! You must make a new reservation, as expired
park reservations cannot be modified.
Unless you are a
Magic Key holder, there is no penalty on unused park reservations. The Disneyland Resort encourages guests who know they won’t make their original visit to modify or cancel their park reservations in advance so another guest can use them. Still, there is no strike to your tickets or future visit! If you are a Magic Key holder, then the
missed park reservations will count towards your three missed reservations allowed before removing the ability to make a new park reservation for the next 30 days.
If you wish to make another park reservation for an unused theme park ticket, you can do so either on the official Disneyland website or the
Disneyland app! You can make park reservations on the website on the theme park reservation page, and if you are on the app, simply click the (+) in the lower middle of the screen, then select “Make a Park Reservation”.
Tip from Tiffany: Check the
Theme Park Reservation Calendar for park reservation availability before selecting a park reservation. Popular visit times (such as the holidays and celebrations) tend to attract more guests to the parks, so park reservations may be low or even unavailable. Be sure to check this calendar (or
Magic Key Calendar if you are a Magic Key holder) before selecting park reservations to ensure there is availability in your preferred park!
If you have other questions about the Disneyland Resort, remember - you’ve got a friend in me!
