I've misplaced my brochure for the 2018 Very Merry Christmas party and I can't find the schedule online. I am trying to get ADRs set. What time will Elsa be lighting the castle on 12/2/18?

Thank you for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Helaine! Getting your snowflakes in a row for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party can be quite the task! Between Elsa setting Cinderella Castle alight with ice to the festive Once Upon a Christmastime parade, you’ll have lots to see.

The official brochures for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2018 aren’t out quite yet (you’ll be able to pick them up on the first night of the party), but you can peruse the event website for what you can expect to see. A helpful planning tool for future events tends to be past party schedules and Undercover Tourist keeps great records on their website of past shows, character appearances and more. I believe Elsa has previously lit the castle twice a night, sometime after 6pm and again after 8pm. It’s so beautiful I usually watch it both times. Keep in mind, between the shows, parades, and quickly moving FP+ queues, I find that Advanced Dining Reservations can suck up a lot of party time that can otherwise be spent enjoying the merriment. If you can, try to schedule those meals for before the party begins, which is around 7pm. After that time, you won’t want to miss all the snow on Main Street in Magic Kingdom!

If I can do any more to help you plan your upcoming vacations, please let me know. It’s the most wonderful time of the year! ~ Lindsey P.
