Hi there, Gloria!
I'm so glad you stopped by to discuss one of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort topics, Disney's All-Star Resorts! Because my husband and I spend so much of our vacation in the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks rather than at our Disney Resort hotels, it is sometimes difficult to justify the higher price points of the Deluxe & Moderate Resorts. However, because we still want to enjoy the
perks exclusive to Guests of Disney Resort Hotels (such as
Early Theme Park Entry and complimentary transportation) we frequently opt to stay in Disney Value Resort hotels. Disney's All-Star Resorts are our favorites because, in my opinion, it doesn't get more classically Disney than
Disney's All-Star Movies Resort. With larger-than-life statues in sections themed after movies that defined so many childhoods, it appeals to the nostalgia of more mature Mouseketeers while also creating an environment that allows younger Guests to feel that they've stepped into the middle of something magical.
Since Guests of one All-Star Resort have access to the amenities of all three (including pools), a
one-mile jogging trail connects all three Resort hotels. Because Disney's All-Star Movies and
Sports are on opposite ends of the trail, it would likely take between ten and fifteen minutes to walk between the two depending on the pace of your stroll and your exact location within each resort. As you make your way between the two, I encourage you not to overlook Disney's All-Star Music Resort. The tropical vibe of the
Calypso Pool starring the Three Caballeros is so inviting!
I hope this was helpful, Gloria, as you prepare to star in your own magical vacation. If any additional questions arise as you are planning, please stop back by.
I'm always happy to help!
Hakuna Matata,
Lizzie
