Where can I get a Mint Julep or Beignet if the Mint Julep Bar and Jazz Kitchen are closed during my trip? Or will there be no other restaurant be offering them?

Hi Autumn! Welcome back to planDisney! I'm so happy you stopped by again to send another question our way.

As someone who loves the treats and drinks at the Disneyland Resort, I can totally relate to your focus on this! I also love having beignets and a mint julep when I visit. My first suggestion for finding both of these items would be to keep checking Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen Express page to see if the refurbishments are complete before you arrive. When it reopens, there will be a temporarily modified experience with promises to offer beignets and it's possible that mint juleps might be available as well. If you are interested in having a great meal at an iconic dining location, Cafe Orleans currently offers mint juleps, and even better, you can get unlimited refills of this yummy drink! While it isn't the case right now, this dining location occasionally has beignets on its lunch and dinner menus, so I would consider making an advanced dining reservation in case they reappear on the menu.

If you want to check out other great eats available during your vacation at The Happiest Place on Earth, I highly recommend following Disney Eats on Instagram. The Foodie Guide for the Disney100 Celebration was just announced and there are many great new food and drink offerings you might enjoy as well.

I'm wishing you a magical vacation filled with delicious food, great drinks, and lots of special memories! If you have more planning questions before you arrive, please visit us again at planDisney. We would love to help!

    Happy Planning!
    Smiles,
    Lisa
