Hiya Debra,
Welcome to planDisney! I am so excited to chat with you about my favorite mode of transportation at Walt Disney World Resort, the Minnie Van Service. As a mom to a toddler and an infant, I love the ease of being able to get around Walt Disney World Resort with my stroller and the kids.
First off, Debra, congratulations on your new grandson! I know that you will love making memories with him in November! The
Baby Care Centers will likely be your best friend during the trip because they can be a great place to help a new baby reset and relax when they need it. As you mentioned,
Minnie Vans do come equipped with two car seats (during my last visit, they were Graco brand), and they can be installed in rear-facing, forward-facing, or high-back booster seat configurations. When I spoke to a Cast Member, she mentioned that you can bring your own booster seat if you would like, for your oldest granddaughter, especially if you need an additional car seat for your eldest granddaughter. Just be prepared to install it yourself.
I hope this was helpful, Debra. I know you mentioned that the booster seat was inflatable, but I did want to remind you that you can
rent lockers at all four theme parks if you don’t want to carry the seat around with you. Since the lockers are located at the front of the theme parks, you can drop the booster seat there when you head inside and pick it up on the way out before scheduling your next Minnie Van. If you need anything else, please come back and see us. I’ve taken my two Mouseketeers to Walt Disney World as young as 2 months old, so I’m happy to share any tips and tricks I’ve picked up along the way.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
