Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Kimberly. It looks like your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just about to begin! Yay! You must be so excited.
Disney's Minnie Van Service is the quickest (and the cutest!) way to get around the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have early morning plans at Magic Kingdom Park, getting there by Minnie Van is super smart! You ask a great question about your party being accommodated by Disney's Minnie Van Service. Each van can seat up to six Guests, and comes equipped with two Graco 4Ever convertible car seats. Whether or not you'll all be able to fit in one standard Minnie Van is dependent on the size of the mobility scooter you're traveling with. If you're traveling with a compact mobility scooter, it and your double stroller should be able to fit in the trunk area since you're using both car seats (the car seats are stored in the trunk area when not in use). If your mobility scooter is more like an ECV in terms of size, you'll need an
Accessible Minnie Van. Accessible Minnie Vans can seat up to five Guests, so you'll all fit, however, these vehicles are only equipped with one car seat. My best advice is to stop by the Front Desk of
Disney's All-Star Movies Resort the day before you plan to use Disney's Minnie Van Service. There you can chat with a friendly Cast Member, and they can take a look at the size of your mobility scooter to determine if it's small enough to fit in the trunk of a standard Minnie Van.
I'm glad to hear you're taking a double stroller with you. Pixie-dusted adventures in the theme parks require a lot of walking, and little legs tire quickly! Be sure to have something to mark your stroller among a sea of others in the designated parking areas. I always tie Mickey Mouse ribbon around the handlebar of our stroller, but I've seen Guests attach nameplates, balloons, and even battery-operated twinkle lights!
I hope this was helpful, Kimberly. I'm wishing you a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
