Can I take a Minnie van to the boardwalk for early access to international gateway? I read without dining resrv. security at Yacht club can turn us away. Have you seen this? Any alternative if so that doesn’t involve skyliner or boat?

    Hi Melissa! Welcome to planDisney!

When it comes to transportation at the Walt Disney World Resort, Disney offers a variety of ways to get to your destination. With the addition of Minnie Vans a few years ago, there are even more options now to get to your desired location. Minnie Van service, which is connected through the Lyft App, is a fun and magical way to get around.

If you plan on entering EPCOT through the International Gateway entrance, you'll need to make your way to Disney's Boardwalk area to get to this location. There are a few resorts that are nearby, including Disney's Beach & Yacht Club Resorts and Disney's Boardwalk Inn. Disney has been strict about allowing Guests who are driving to park at any resort without an Advanced Dining Reservation, but since you plan to use the Minnie Van service, it's possible that the Cast Member driving will be able to drop you off at one of these resorts. If so, you can simply walk from the front of the resort to the International Gateway.

If not, I have a great alternative for you. You can be dropped off at Disney's Hollywood Studios, then take the walking path over to Disney's Boardwalk and access the entrance from here. While the Disney Skyliner and Friendship Boats are available, they are not your only options to get to EPCOT. The walking path is a great way to control your time and get to the entrance at your own pace.

During your visit to EPCOT, I hope you get a chance to ride Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. While this attraction is incredibly thrilling, you also get a bit of variety each time you get a chance to ride. This has quickly become a must-do on every EPCOT visit! Make sure to enter the Virtual Queue starting at 7 AM using your My Disney Experience App since there is currently no standby queue for this attraction!

Melissa, I hope you have a magical visit!

    See ya real soon!
