Hey, Jana! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
I have enjoyed dining at
The Wave... of American Flavors many times for dinner. I just glanced at the breakfast menu and oh my, you are going to be in for a real treat. I am absolutely making a breakfast reservation there on my next trip to Walt Disney World. I might have to order two meals - the glazed doughnut french toast and the avocado toast are calling my name. I do think your best option for transportation to your breakfast will be to use the
Minnie Van Service. Minnie Vans start running at 6:30 in the morning. It's hard to say for sure how long it will take for one to pick you up, but in my experience, I've never waited more than 10-15 minutes for one. Of course, that's subject to availability. I'd suggest being ready to call your Minnie Van around 7:30 a.m. After your breakfast, I'm guessing you're planning to hop right on the monorail from Disney's Contemporary Resort. You'll need to get off at the Transportation and Ticket center and switch lines to get to Epcot. This shouldn't take you more than 30 minutes. If you are trying to get to a FastPass+ selection, factor time in for security, bag check and actually entering and walking to that attraction.
I really hope you enjoy your breakfast. It sounds absolutely delicious. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask me.
