Hey Howdy Hey, Emily,
Welcome to planDisney! Emily, I like to say that Walt Disney World Resort is an experience, not just a destination. Getting to enjoy the magic of
Enchanting Extras like the Dolphins in Depth experience or giddying up on a trail ride at the Tri-Circle D Ranch in Disney's Fort Wilderness fills our buckets with as much pixie dust as visiting the theme parks.
Emily, for the first activity,
Dolphins in Depth, there isn't a minimum age requirement listed. However, there is a height requirement. Guests need to be at least 48" (122 cm) tall to participate and Guests under age 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult. There are a few other things to know about this experience, should you decide to book it, which you can
find listed here. For the
Horseback Trail Riding experience at Tri-Circle D Ranch, there is an age and a height minimum. Guests age nine years old and up who are at least 48" (122 cm) tall can participate. Everyone must ride on their own horse, so unfortunately, your child cannot ride with you, and everyone must wear helmets regardless of age and experience. There are a few additional important things to know about the experience which
you can find here. Now, if your little one doesn't meet the height requirements or age requirement for the Horseback Trail Riding experience, there are
Pony Rides available for younger Mouseketeers available at Disney's Fort Wilderness. The minimum age for this fun activity is two years of age and Guests UNDER 48" are welcome to participate in this walk-in-only activity. Afterward, the little ones may get to see one of Cinderella's Ponies! How magical is that!
I hope this helps you, Emily! If you have any further questions, mosey back over here and I'll be so happy to help you because you've got a friend in me!
Happy Trails!
Keri
