Hi Christine,
Welcome to planDisney!
It sounds like you are making some fabulous plans for fun outside of the Walt Disney World® Resort theme parks! You do not need a theme park ticket to access mini golf but there are separate fees to play. Take a look at the info for
Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf and
Winter Summerland Miniature Golf courses to see which might be open during the dates of your visit. Also take note of your
advanced reservation booking window. Right now it looks like they will both be open on the day of your visit. Definitely double-check when you are making plans because hours could change!
My girls and I have enjoyed mini golf at Fantasia Gardens. We have the best time even though our skills are limited! If you visit Fantasia Gardens, you could spend some time enjoying Disney's BoardWalk area as well. Consider getting lunch or dinner there after you play mini golf. I love the character dining experience at
Cape May Cafe. We also love
Trattoria al Forno and
Ale & Compass Restaurant at Disney's Yacht Club Resort.
If you have not already done so, I suggest that you consider a short stay at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel. Even if you only stay one or two nights, you would have easier access to activities and if you book a vacation package, take a look at the
Magical Extras that ae included for 2025. When the girls and I last did mini golf we used the vouchers for it that were included in our Magical Extras. It can get quite busy, so I do suggest reserving a time.
Christine, I will note that if you are planning to stay elsewhere, do some additional price comparisons and reconsider the math. I started considering the value of time. Since we typically stay at Disney resorts that are within walking distance to one or more theme parks, we save so much time getting to and from the parks and that time has value. In the meantime, keep up the
practically perfect planning!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
