Hi, David! Welcome to planDisney.
One of my favorite things about a Walt Disney World vacation is that the fun doesn't stop when you leave the parks. There are so many little extras you can add to your trip, and miniature golf is one of those hidden gems. It's a great way to slow down, laugh together, get some exercise, and show off your skills.
There are actually two mini golf spots at Walt Disney World.
Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf is inspired by the classic film Fantasia. One course is full of playful scenes, like dancing hippos, marching broomsticks, and whimsical music notes. My family played this course last year and had a blast! The other course is set up like a tiny but tricky real golf course (warning: it's harder than it looks!).
Then there's
Winter Summerland Miniature Golf, which is themed like Santa's vacation retreat. One course is snowy and festive, whilst the other is all about a warm, beachy Christmas. Think sandcastles and surfboards mixed with holiday lights. Both are really fun, and kids (and grown-ups) love the creative details.
If your vacation package includes a
Disney Resort hotel and
theme park tickets, check your extras. You might have a voucher for a complimentary round of mini golf. Even without it, it's a super affordable activity and a perfect way to kick off your trip on arrival day or relax on a non-park day.
