    I am a military veteran and heard that the resorts give discounts to veterans. My travel agent doesn't seem to know anything about any discounts except about the Shades of Green resort. Are there other discounts available other than staying at SOG?

    In addition to discounted Theme Park Tickets, Military discounts on Walt Disney World Resort hotel rooms are also available for eligible service members for hotels other than Shades of Green. The specific hotels available differ due to availability. Your Travel Agent isn't able to book those rooms through the travel agent portal, nor can you book it online for yourself. To inquire what is available, your travel agent or yourself must call in to determine what hotel options are currently available. I would suggest putting together a list of which hotels you would like to stay at so if any of them are available, your travel agent can book them for you right away provided they have all the information they need for everyone in your party. If they have to call back, there is a chance that the reservation you would like may not still be available. 

    Gail, don't forget eligible service members can also enjoy discounted Memory Maker purchase! Visit any guest relations to purchase your Memory Maker once you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort.
