I am a military spouse and purchased Disneyland armed forces salute tickets for myself, my sister, and our kids. Can she hold her ticket in her own personal disney account or do I need to keep them all together? Can her tickets be activated after mine?

Hey there, hi there, Laura! We are so glad you've stopped by planDisney and on behalf of all of us here, I'd like to thank your family for their service.

As a military spouse myself, I LOVE being able to enjoy the Disney Military Promotional Tickets that are offered to active duty and retired military members. Our family takes advantage of these tickets every year and I love that they don't have to be used consecutively or within a 14-day period like standard park hopper tickets. If you purchased tickets for both your family and your sister's family, she can definitely link her tickets to her own Disney account. I have activated my tickets at different times, but you will have to be present when your sister activates her tickets. The military member or spouse who purchased the tickets needs to show military ID at the turnstile for them to be activated for use. Once they are activated that first time, then she will be able to use them at different times for the remainder of the tickets if you are not present with her.

Once your visit gets closer, be sure to stop by the Disney Parks Blog. The Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival will be kicking off on March 3, 2023, and the blog will feature at Disney Eats Foodie Guide to share all the bites and drinks that will be featured. It's such a fun festival, so definitely plan a day to enjoy it.

Laura, thanks again for stopping by. Be sure to stop by if you have any other questions for us.

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
