Hi there, Kayte!
Welcome to planDisney! I am so grateful to military families and the service and sacrifice they give. I'm honored to lend a hand with your vacation planning!
It sounds like you've already worked with your base to
purchase your Disneyland Park tickets at the special military rate. Excellent! When you arrive at the parks the military member or spouse in your party will need to provide their military ID card at the park entrance. This is critical, because without the military member present with their ID to activate the tickets your group won't be able to use them. After the military member or spouse shows their ID on the first day to activate the tickets then each member of your party is welcome to use their tickets on their own.
Don't forget, before you arrive at the parks you'll need to link your tickets to a Disney account so you can
make park reservations for each day of your visit! Every ticket needs its own reservation each day.
After that, it's all about having fun as a family! You can start thinking about
making dining reservations (usually 60 days in advance) and planning for attractions and entertainment that you don't want to miss. We often travel with our children and their grandparents, too! Some of our favorite things to do all together are:
Wishing you and your family a magical visit to the park, Kayte!
Keep moving forward!
