Can I get military salute park tickets, if I am staying at Shade of Green? I'm retired 100% disabled

    Hi Barbara!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! First off, thank you oh so much for your service to our country! Mine is a military family too, and we love so much the way that Disney chooses to thank our nation's service members by way of U.S. Military Promotional Tickets. These four and five-day park hopper passes are available for purchase by those who are currently Active Duty, Reservists, fully retired, or are 100 percent disabled.

You certainly can buy U.S. Military Promotional Walt Disney World Resort Tickets at Shades of Green. For the longest time your only option was to buy them in-person once you arrived in Orlando; however, you can now purchase tickets through Shades in advance of your vacation so you can make those important FastPass+ reservations well in advance of your vacation. Pro Tip: you'll have to send a few back-and-fourth emails to verify your duty status this way, so check with the Ticket & Travel Office or MWR location of your nearest base to see if they have any in stock first as that's usually the fastest route. Bonus Tip: Tickets purchased both on base or at Shades of Green are sales-tax free!

I hope this helped, Barbara, and We'll See You Real Soon!
