Does the Military Salute Park Hopper allow all day park hopping or is it still under the 2pm restriction? Also, do you have to make theme park reservations for each park you want to hop or only the first park of the day? Thank you!

Hi, Rebecca! Welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet to get answers about the Most Magical Place on Earth.

Through the Salute to the Military passes, Walt Disney World Resort has phenomenal ticket offers for members of the US military. With these tickets you do need to make Theme Park Reservations for each day you plan to go to Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom Theme Park. If you have passes with the Park Hopper option, you can visit another park (or all three) any time after visiting the initial park, subject to park capacity. You just need to present your ticket; MagicBand or MagicBand+; or MagicMobile on your phone like you did to get in the first park for entry. You do not need reservations for parks you hop to after your first park.

You can easily check the operating hours of each park and when Park Hopper Availability opens. This calendar can be found on the My Disney Experience App, under the tile "Park Hours & Info." It is so helpful with reminders about Early Entry, Extended Evening Theme Park Hours and special ticketed events that affect hours each day.

My last trip ended on January 8, the last day the hopping was limited to after 2 pm. I have heard from friends visiting Walt Disney World Resort recently that the buses that take Guests between theme parks start running around 10 a.m. You could park hop before then, but it was just helpful to me in planning my next trip to know the buses start a little while after the park opens. This was their experience and may change, but it seems to be in line with the timing of buses between theme parks in the past.

I hope your trip to Walt Disney World Resort is full of magical and memories for a lifetime! If you. have any other questions, please come back to planDisney.

    Cheers!
    Jana
