Hi Douglas!
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for sending this great
Disneyland Resort planning question to us hEAR. I'm happy to be your planEAR today!
I'm a Military wife and am very familiar with the wonderful
3 and 4-day Disney U.S. Military Promotional Park Hopper Tickets. I'm happy to report that these tickets don't adhEAR to the standard "must use with 13 days of first visit" rule like
standard Disneyland theme park tickets. You very well can buy the 4-day tickets and use two days this trip and then return in the fall for
Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort or even to see the
Holiday decor up in all of its glory. This is kind of what my family did when we were stationed in Southern California; my son and I were Annual Passholders, and we'd buy just one 4-day Military ticket for my husband and that's what he'd use to join us on special occasions throughout the yEAR.
In your case, you can either split your current visit into two trips to Mickey's house, or you can keep trying to get more
Park Pass Reservations for your upcoming desired Disney dates.
These reservation dates are fluid in that spots may open up if and when other guests change or cancel their plans. You might even have to check back a few times and grab reservations for those in your travel party one or two at a time, but it can be done. (Sometimes dates open up the day before you're supposed to arrive!) I'm not a huge fan of the park pass reservation system because I'm a last-minute planEAR myself. But, if it helps, Park Pass Reservations do open for booking 120 days in advance and there's no penalty if you cancel your booking at least 24 hours in advance. I know it's hard with the military lifestyle to know when you might get leave, but sometimes it's worth Disney dreaming about potential park dates and then making the time off happen.
I do want to mention that there are a few blockout dates with these tickets, which are April 9 - April 17, 2022, and the last date of use with these 2022 passes is December 16. Other than that, have fun!
I hope that this answer helped to clEAR things up a bit, Douglas! Be sure to follow the
