Hey there, Meagan! Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by planDisney with your question. We are so glad you are here!
I want to take a moment to thank your family for your service and sacrifices. As a military spouse myself, I know first-hand what that looks like. We salute you! As far as the
California Resident Ticket Offer goes, I double-checked with a Cast Member in
Ticket Services, and unfortunately, other forms of identification to prove your address won't be accepted. A valid government ID with a current qualifying address is required. I can understand your frustration in this requirement, as we fall into the same category as a non-resident stationed and living in California for many years, and therefore do not qualify either.
What I can share is that if your service member is active duty or retired, they qualify for the
Disney Military Promotional Ticket Offer. This has a similar 3 or 4-day Park Hopper ticket offer, and this ticket type is available to use through December 2026. Previously, this was only available through your local participating military base ticket offices, but now you can also purchase this online through GOVX.com. We like having that bigger window of time to use these tickets, as you know how hard it is to plan even a 1-day visit sometimes.
Disney Parks Blog just announced their events calendar for 2026, so be sure to check that out to see if there is any event or festival you want to experience.
Meagan, thanks again for stopping by! I hope you and your family can enjoy some magical moments at Disneyland Resort soon!
