Hey there, hi there, ho there, Selene!
Welcome to planDisney, and a huge thank you to you and your family for your service! It’s amazing that you are taking advantage of the
promotional offer for military families at
the Disneyland Resort Hotels. When my family and I took our first trip to Disneyland, we used a similar offer. Deals like these make the magic more affordable and accessible for families like ours!
Upon check-in, the eligible service member or spouse must present their Military ID to keep the discounted rate. Military identification can vary based on your branch and status. If the Guest is currently active, they would typically provide their Department of Defense (DoD) Common Access Card (CAC). If the Guest is retired or a disabled veteran, they would provide the identification issued to them by the DoD. The particular ID in this case can vary, but it typically includes an expiration date to prove that it is valid.
Bonus Tip: Be sure to use the
special theme park perk that is included in your Resort stay. Each registered Guest will receive
one complimentary Lightning Lane entry to a Lightning Lane MultiPass attraction. I recommend using it for the attraction with the longest wait time. In my experience, that is typically
Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: BREAKOUT or the
Incredicoaster. Keep an eye on the Disneyland
mobile app for the most accurate wait times to make an informed decision.
Selene, I hope this information was helpful and that you all have the most magical time during your vacation to the Happiest Place on Earth! If you have any more questions as you plan, please feel free to come back and see us again here at planDisney.
Sending you faith, trust, and pixie dust,
Karmeen
