    We are a military family. Is Shades of Green cheaper than the other resorts? Can we book that through a travel agent? Does it offer the same perks as the other resorts?

    Hi Linda!

    This is a great question!  Generally speaking, Shades of Green is a better and better deal the lower your military rank or Department of Defense civilian grade. You will want to call the Shades of Green directly or check out their official website for more information. Also, food I generally less expensive there compared to getting food at a Disney resort.

    Guests staying at the Shades of Green can not purchase a Disney Dining Plan and do not have access to Disney's Magical Expess. Disney transportation also does not go the Shades of Green, but the hotel does provide its own transportation; you can also just walk down the street to it from the Polynesian Resort.
