Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lindsay!
On behalf of my fellow Panelists, and my own military family, I’d like to extend my gratitude to your husband and your whole family for your service to our country. I see you’re planning to visit the Walt Disney World Resort in just a few months, and I hope that means he’s coming home soon. I’m sending my very best wishes for a safe return home, and some truly wonderful post-deployment time together at The Most Magical Place on Earth.
Lindsay, it’s true that ITT/MWR offices on U.S. military bases sell Walt Disney World Military Promotional Theme Park Tickets, but I’m not sure what the supply is like at overseas base ticket offices. If it's easily accessible, your husband could check to see if the tickets are sold on his base, and what they have available. In my experience, supplies can be limited on base; my family has had to wait a few weeks while tickets were ordered from other bases, and that’s here in the U.S.
If you have your own military ID, you could go to your local base and purchase the tickets. Another option is to order them from
Shades of Green, Walt Disney World’s resort hotel for military members. They have a fantastic ticket office, and can take orders via email. When you order through them, the tickets are sent to you directly; that might be the easiest option for you. Shades of Green can be reached at (407) 824-1403, or you can look for the ticket order form on their website.
The current Military Promotional Theme Park Tickets are valid through December 19, 2019, so just be sure that you purchase the 2019 tickets for travel in 2019, or the
2020 Special Offer for travel in 2020. Always check the terms and conditions to be sure they work for you before purchasing.
I hope this helps your family find your Walt Disney World theme park tickets quickly and easily, Lindsay! I’m wishing you the most wonderful reunion and so many magical memories together this
holiday season.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
