    We are a military family that is coming to Disney for the first time in July! We are staying at Carribean Beach but would like to use the AAFES store at Shades of Green. What are the transportation options to get from the Carribean to SOG? Thank you!!

    Hi Mark!

    Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

    There is no direct transportation between the Caribbean Beach Resort and the Shades of Green or any other Disney resort hotel in general.  To get their using Disney transportation, I recommend taking the bus from the Caribbean Beach Resort to the Magic Kingdom.  Then, before going into the Magic Kingdom, catch the resort monorail to the Polynesian Resort.  Then walk across the street to the Shades of Green, but be careful since you have to cross a road at one point.

    For the return trip, when you have groceries, I recommend just taking a taxi from the Shades of Green right back to your hotel.  Taxis are the fastest and generally the easiest way to get around Walt Disney World if you don't have your own car. You could obviously also use a taxi to get to the Shades of Green in the first place.
