If we are military, but a family of 8, can I book two rooms with a military discount. Since we cannot fit in one room?

    Hi Amanda,

Thank you for stopping by planDisney and a big thank you to your family for your military service! I grew up in a military household myself, and appreciate the Special U.S. Military Rates that the Disney Cruise Line offers on select cruises.

I'm happy to inform you that the special military offers are typically limited to one stateroom per military member, however, if your immediate family members cannot fit into one stateroom, Disney Cruise Line allows you to book a second stateroom for your sailing party. These two staterooms are allowed with a maximum of two adults total on the reservation. This way a family of eight, with two adults and six children, can spread out between the two staterooms and still take advantage of the excellent rates offered to our retired and active U.S. Military personnel.

Please remember to have the U.S. Military member in your sailing party pack their valid identification to be shown at check-in. I recommend that you keep it in a day bag that you'll carry onboard with your other important travel documents and be sure to throw some swimsuits and sunscreen in there as well! You can board the ship, grab a bite to eat and hit the pools before the ship has even sailed away from port.

Amanda, if you have any further questions as you prepare for your adventure at sea, please cruise back to us here at planDisney and we'd be happy to help.

    Happy planning!
