With the military discount tickets, will my children (15 and 13) need their IDs for park entrance?

    Hi Alyssa,

Thank you for visiting planDisney! I’m so glad to hear that you were able to take advantage of the Military discount tickets that Disneyland is offering this year. I’m sure you and your family will have a great time.

When you first enter the park using this promotion, a Cast Member will need to confirm your eligibility by checking the ID card of the military member or spouse. Your children will not need to present their IDs. After that, you all can go in and out of the parks without needing to verify your IDs again.

If you're passing through Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure, keep an eye out for the “Incredible Hulk" tree. This tree was exposed to “gamma radiation,” just like the Hulk! It’s a cool Easter egg in the park. Also, head over to Pym Test Kitchen for other fun Marvel-themed food. I always get a laugh eating the oversized Quantum Pretzel. Be sure to mobile order your food to skip the wait in line.

Alyssa, I hope this information is helpful. Disneyland Resort has a lot of amazing events coming in 2025, especially with this year marking Disneyland's 70th anniversary. Some incredible new experiences are on the way! If you have any other questions or need help planning, feel free to reach out to me or one of my fellow panelists—we’d be happy to share our insights.

    Have a wonderful visit!
