What is the military discount on the room rate and is it for all veterans who served.

Hi Michele! I will be happy to answer your question. Active and retired U.S. military personnel, including the National Guard, Reservists, and the U.S. Coast Guard, may save up to 40% off resort rates when booking their stay in a Disney owned and operated resort prior to September 28, 2011. The Armed Forces Salute promotion is valid for most nights between now and October 1, 2011. However, is it not available from April 17, 2011 through April 30, 2011. There is a limited number of rooms available for this offer so I would recommend making your resort reservation as soon as possible. You may secure your resort reservation by calling (407) 939-7830, or participating MWR/ITT offices. To read more about this promotion and other discounts available to U.S. military personnel, go here, and please let me know if I can be of further assistance. Have a memorable vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort!
