How do i get a military discount if my ITT office isn’t selling military discounted tickets?

    Hi Jacqueline! Welcome to planDisney.

As a military spouse and one of the military mamas here on the panel, I would like to thank you for your service to our country. I have a special spot in my heart for military families traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort, because I know just how important together time is for us, and how much we treasure those memories when a loved one is away from home.

I see your visit is just about a month away – I know you’re getting so excited! Let’s get your tickets straightened out so you can finalize those plans.

When my base ticket office has been out of stock on Military Promotional Theme Park Tickets, they’ve been good about offering to check with other bases to see if they have any on hand. That’s probably your fastest option for getting the tickets. If you’ve already tried that with no luck, your best bet is to get in touch with Shades of Green.

Shades of Green is the resort hotel for military service members located on Walt Disney World Resort property. They are a fantastic resource for all your military travel needs, and military members with valid military IDs may order tickets from them via email. You will find their email address and instructions for ordering the tickets on the Shades of Green website. Note that you need to provide your military ID and other information so they may verify your eligibility before processing. Once processed, they will ship your tickets to you (there is an additional fee to cover shipping). I’ve always found this to be a quick and easy process, but since your trip is coming up soon, please get the process started as soon as possible.

You will need to have your tickets to make Disney Park Pass reservations. Reservations are needed for each Guest planning to enter a theme park, and they can be made once your tickets are linked to your My Disney Experience account. I recommend making those as soon as you have your tickets, as park capacity is limited as part of the phased reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort.

I’m sending pixie-dusted wishes that you’re able to get your tickets very quickly. Thanks for stopping by today, and please come back and see us if you have any more questions as you count down the days to your springtime visit.

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
