Hi, Amanda. I'm happy to explore some of the options available to military families with you.
Let's start with your admission tickets, shall we? Eligible members of the U.S. military can purchase 4-Day or 5-Day
military promotional tickets for up to six people. It's important to note that the eligible Service Member or the eligible Service Member's spouse must be present to activate the tickets and a
theme park reservation is also required to use the tickets. To purchase these promotional tickets, just inquire at a participating U.S. military base ticket office.
You'll also need a place to sleep during your vacation. You might be pleased to learn that members of the U.S. military are treated to some
great rates at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Another option to consider is Shades of Green. It's an Armed Forces Recreation Centers (AFRC) Resort located next to
Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. Rates there are dependent upon the eligibility category you or the Service Member you will be traveling with qualify under. My family has enjoyed many delightful stays at Shades of Green. It's a great value!
You don't mention when you'll be traveling, Amanda, but I'm happy to tell you that this year marks an extra special celebration at the most magical place on Earth. There are some
fun transformations to look forward to during Walt Disney World's 50th anniversary. And
these tips for traveling in 2021 will get you going in the right direction.
I hope I've helped! Don't hesitate to stop back by if we can be of further assistance as you plan your trip.
