While some ticket types can be upgraded to include
Lightning Lane Multi Pass after purchasing your tickets and before you scan into the parks for the day, this is typically not available with discounted tickets bought on base. If your ticket can be upgraded, you'll see a link to do so in the
Disneyland mobile app when you access the tickets. Otherwise, you'll need to purchase your Lightning Lane Multi Pass on the app after you scan into the parks for the day, subject to availability. We regularly do this as a family without issue. With my method of payment saved, it's a super quick process.
You'll find that Lightning Lane Multi Pass allows you to spend less time waiting in queues and more time focused on the fun of your family vacation. It's our can't-skip add-on for that very reason. Currently, you'll also receive complimentary downloads of all your Disney PhotoPass photographs with your purchase, which is a great deal! Those photos are my favorite souvenir. I love to look back at my boys at all stages of their lives and remember their smiles and laughter on those visits.
