Hi Debi! Welcome to planDisney.
On behalf of my fellow panelists, and my own military family, I would like to thank you for your service to our country. My family had an unforgettable vacation at Walt Disney World Resort a few months ago to celebrate my husband's return from his deployment, and it was so wonderful for us to be together again in our happy place. I hope your family enjoys your magical R&R!
The 2020
Military Promotional Theme Park Tickets were extended to the new expiration date in September 2021. I had these tickets too and just used them this summer. In order to request an extension, you'll need to call speak with a friendly Cast Member by
calling (407) 566-4985. Explain that you are a military member and are requesting an extension. While there is no guarantee that they will be able to extend your expiration date, it’s been my experience that the Cast Member may be able to grant your wish. If they can't extend, they will be able to give you the options for applying the value of those tickets to new ones.
Debi, hold times are longer than usual right now, but calling is the only option for requesting the extension at this time, so hang in there. I'm sending pixie-dusted wishes that it all works out!
Did you know that military members can currently purchase
Memory Maker for a discounted rate? My family always adds this to our visits - we love to stop at PhotoPass photographers and capture family photos in all of our favorite spots. Our favorite feature is the Magic Shot, which adds fun Disney surprises to your photos when they appear in the
My Disney Experience app. To add military-discounted Memory Maker, stop by Guest Relations to show your military ID and make the purchase.
Thanks for stopping by! If you have any further questions as you plan your visit this autumn, please come back and see us. It's always a pleasure to help fellow military members with their Disney dreaming.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
