Hi Scott! Welcome to planDisney.
Thank you for your service to our country. As a military spouse, I know just how important magical R&R can be for our military members and their families, and my family considers the Walt Disney World Resort the perfect place to make those special memories together.
I'm happy to hear you've purchased your
Disney Military Salute theme park tickets for 2022. Purchasing the tickets with the Park Hopper Plus Option gives you so much extra pixie dust, and you'll be able to use those "plus" options to enjoy select golf, mini-golf, and
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park. The great news is that the Disney Military Salute tickets are valid for the entire use year, meaning your theme park and "plus" entries are valid from the day you activate the tickets until the ticket expiration date of December 16, 2022. Sometimes my family splits up the ticket days and uses them on two separate vacations!
You may activate your Disney Military Salute tickets at any Walt Disney World Resort Guest Relations window. So, in your example, if Magic Kingdom Park is your first park of the day, you would activate the tickets at the Guest Relations location outside of Magic Kingdom Park. I always arrive extra early on the day we need to activate our tickets to account for lines or delays, but it's a relatively quick process. You'll need to have your military ID, everyone's ticket cards or exchange certificates, and MagicBands (if you're using them). The Cast Member will activate each one and then you'll be ready to let the magic begin!
In this example, you would need Theme Park Reservations for Magic Kingdom Park because it's your first park of the day. If you head to Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park at noon, your tickets will already be activated. Your entry to Blizzard Beach will count for one of your "plus" entries, so you will have used one theme park day and one "plus" on this day. Once you've enjoyed Blizzard Beach, you're free to use the
Park Hopper Option included in your ticket to "hop" to EPCOT.
Park Hopper Hours currently begin at 1400, and you don't need a Theme Park Reservation aside from your first park of the day. As long as EPCOT hasn't reached capacity (that's extremely rare, and your
My Disney Experience mobile app will notify you if it has), you're free to head there next.
I hope this helps as you plan your itinerary, Scott. You'll only need to activate your tickets once, so if you wanted to visit Blizzard Beach before Magic Kingdom, you could do it at the water park and then be all set for the rest of your visit. You may also activate your tickets at the Guest Relations location in Disney Springs.
Thanks for stopping by with your question! It's always a pleasure to assist a fellow military family with their Disney dreaming, and I hope you'll come back and see us if you have any further questions. Have a fantastic time!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
