Hello. I am in the middle of planning my dining reservations , I am specifically looking to have Chef TJ working when we make our reservation. My daughter has allergies and I hear he is awesome! Is there a way to know when he will be working so I can pick!

Hiya Pal! Happy New Year, Angela, and welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for bringing us your question.

Hot dog, I'm so excited for you to join us here at the Walt Disney World Resort in a little over a month! Don't you feel like a little kid right know? I truly believe that planning for a magical Disney vacation is (almost) just as fun as the pixie dusted trip itself! Besides, you are going to be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth during one of the most romantic times of year. How delightful! Be sure to pay a visit to the Big Cheese himself, Mickey Mouse, inside Town Square Theater at Magic Kingdom Park. I'm sure he's going to love telling you all about his Valentine's Day plans with Minnie!

But now, let's talk food. Yum! Just like you, I love planning in advance, and just like your daughter, I also struggle with food allergies of my own. On that note, I'm very happy to let you know that, at this time, the incredible Chef TJ Sudiswa is gracing the kitchens of quite a few Walt Disney World Resort restaurants, including Cape May Café, Beaches & Cream Soda Shop, Beach Club Marketplace and Martha's Vineyard. That being said, I do encourage you to call one of the great Cast Members at Disney's Beach Club Resort ((407) 934-8000) or Disney's Yacht Club Resort ((407) 934-7000) to see if they have more specific information regarding Chef Sudiswa's schedule.

Now, Angela, I would like to make a personal recommendation for you and your beautiful daughter. My favorite restaurant on property is the Garden Grill Restaurant, located inside The Land Pavilion at EPCOT's World Nature Neighborhood. The Garden Grill Restaurant's allergy-friendly menu is unbelievably good, but that is definitely not its only appeal. Here, you will be able to enjoy a wonderful family-style meal alongside Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale while you rotate above the gorgeous Living with the Land attraction

Although all of the above are great restaurants, I do want to take a moment to remind you that most dining locations at the Walt Disney World Resort offer ample allergy-friendly menus, and trust me, they all have delicious meals and snacks for you to try! Just walk up to one of the Cast Members and ask how they can accommodate your daughter.

I hope you have a magical day, Angela. Make sure to come back with any other Disney vacation planning questions you might have!

    Until next time,
