    Is mid October a more quiet time at the parks and resorts and what resort would be best for a party of 12 that consists of Gpa and Gma, 4 adults, 4 adult children and 2 kids age 14?

    Hi Michael:

    There are two rules about Disney World that I follow.  The first is to wear comfortable shoes.  The second is that Disney World tends to be less crowded when schools are in session.  Since most schools are in session in mid-October, you'll find the Parks to be less crowded than at more popular vacation times.

    As for Resorts, I would look into Polynesian, Beach Club, Yacht Club, Animal Kingdom Lodge, or Art of Animation.  During less crowded periods, like mid-October, it's usually easier to secure connecting rooms.  But remember to book early to increase your chances of connecting or adjoining rooms.
