Are there microwaves and coffee makers at Port Orleans resort in Florida?

    Hi Lisa,

The Port Orleans resorts are my favorite moderate resorts at Walt Disney World. The grounds are so beautiful and serene, and adjacent resorts -- Port Orleans Riverside and Port Orleans French Quarter -- are centrally located to the four theme parks and Disney Springs. I'm not sure which resort you are staying in, but they are connected by a wide sidewalk and you can walk from one to another in just a few minutes.

You will find a coffeemaker in your room at these and all other moderate resorts. Microwaves are available for guest use in the food courts.

Speaking of food, don't miss the hot beignets at the Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory at French Quarter. And check out Yehaa Bob's family-friendly show in the River Roost Lounge at Riverside. You also can catch a water taxi from the resorts to Disney Springs for dining, shopping and more.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lisa. Please let us know if we can answer any more questions for you as you plan our vacation. (And, because you are a fellow Florida resident, make sure you check out all the special offers available for those of us who live here.)

    Enjoy,
