Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa! This is one of my favorite places to stay on property thanks to its close proximity to the parks and its Craftsman-style details. Just the views of the lobby alone is a sight to behold. I'd be happy to help you plan for your upcoming hotel stay!
The Grand Californian offers a variety of
room types, from standard view rooms to spacious multi-room suites that can accommodate up to 13 Guests. While all rooms share similar amenities, microwaves are included in the suites, whereas standard and premium view rooms do not have microwaves inside the room. With that being said, each floor of the hotel does offer microwave access for hotel Guests. When you check in, simply ask a Cast Member and they can provide a map showing exactly where the microwaves are located on your floor.
One of my favorite features of this hotel is the viewing terrace on the sixth floor. Take the elevator up to the Paradise View Terrace for a fantastic vantage point overlooking Disney California Adventure Park, with the added bonus of viewing
World of Color. The show's music plays on the terrace as well, so you can enjoy the experience while still feeling fully surrounded in the magic.
If you're traveling with little ones and need microwave access while you're inside the parks, be sure to take advantage of the
Baby Care Centers located in both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. They offer microwaves for warming food, along with changing tables, highchairs, and a quiet place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the day. I love stopping in for a calm break where my son can enjoy a snack or use the restroom that's perfectly sized for a toddler.
