What are the microwave options at the Caribbean Resort now that the Old Fort Royale is closed for renovations?

Hi, Lisa! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort has such a great, island feel! I always say that it’s like going on 2 vacations in one as it is in the heart of Walt Disney World Resort yet feels like a tropical oasis!

You are correct, your Disney Resort hotel is undergoing a little makeover and you may have to Pardon their Pixie Dust. Although Old Port Royale Food Court, Shutters at Old Port Royale, Banana Cabana Pool Bar, and Calypso Trading Post will be unavailable during your visit, there will still be a variety of dining options available to you for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Centertown will serve an all‐you‐care‐to‐enjoy buffet for breakfast and dinner, and it looks DELICIOUS! Within the 3 new island markets (converted Resort hotel rooms) located in the Aruba, Jamaica and Martinique regions of the Resort you can find a selection of grab‐and‐go meals will be conveniently available for purchase! I am told that each area will have toasters and microwaves for Guest use!

I hope this answers your question and you have a wonderful time at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort! See you again real soon,
