Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is sold out during our trip dates! What is there to do outside of the party on those nights?

Hey Howdy Hey Madison and welcome to planDisney!

Mickey's Not-So-Scarry Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom is one of the big draws for many during the Halloween season. While this party is super popular, there are still so many things to do outside of Magic Kingdom to enjoy the Halloween season. Thank you for your question and I will gladly give you some options on what to do outside of Magic Kingdom.

If you want to be in the parks on the day of the Halloween party, you are always welcome to select a different park to attend or hop to if you have the Park Hopper Option on your tickets. Typically Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT will be open a little later so you can enjoy a few attractions and a nighttime fireworks show. Keep an eye on the Hours & Events Calendar for updated hours of each park as the dates get closer to your vacation.

Madison, you can still visit Magic Kingdom on the day of the party, just know your day will end early at 7:00 PM when the party officially starts. One thing my family and I love doing is a little resort hopping on those nights. Feel free to visit all of the Magic Kingdom resorts for a fun evening. Many of the resorts will have special Halloween treats available for purchase as well. You can hop from resort to resort trying all the spooky snacks. Keep an eye on the times for the fireworks in Magic Kingdom while you are hopping. During the fireworks, many places in each of the Magic Kingdom resorts will have the music piped in as well as a view of the fireworks so you can enjoy it from afar. My favorite place to watch the fireworks is on the beach at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. You can see Cinderella Castle from there and it is a super relaxing and enjoyable way to watch the fireworks from outside of the parks. It is also much less crowded compared to the parks and paired with a tasty treat, well this is a super special evening!

If you are thinking of visiting the resorts, keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog. Look under the Disney Eats section as they typically have an article on special treats available during the Halloween season at locations both inside the parks and at the resorts.

I hope you now have some ideas to think about for your upcoming vacation. If you have any further questions, please feel free to let us know, we are always happy to help!

    Have a Magical day,

    Nick
