BOO to you, Vanessa! Don’t worry! That’s a GREAT thing to say to someone who is excited to visit
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom Park! I love your question! Thanks for coming to planDisney!
Given that you have flexibility on Labor Day weekend, I recommend you visit Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on Monday. Fridays at Magic Kingdom Park tend to be more crowded in general. The Friday night party will probably be very popular! Additionally, any holiday weekend travelers might decide to make their return trip home prior to Monday night’s party.
As far as some PRO TIPS on what not to miss, that’s a bit of a harder question! I love just about everything that comes along with Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, but I’m happy to provide a few favorites! First, be sure to take advantage of the early entry benefit! Guests holding tickets for this “petrifyingly” perfect party can enter Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4:00 PM even though the party doesn’t officially begin until 7:00 PM! Another favorite of mine is visiting with the characters in their Halloween costumes! This is the only time of year to see them dressed in their Halloween best, so take some pictures with the characters! But, my favorite activity of the night is to see the Headless Horseman himself make his terrifyingly awesome ride along Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade route just a few minutes prior to the parade beginning! Vanessa, the parade is usually held twice during the party. If you’re a night owl, I recommend attending the second showing of the parade. It tends to be slightly less crowded!
