With the Mickey's not-so-scary Halloween party, are the fireworks/parades different than regular nights at the Magic Kingdom? Basically, the only way to see Halloween parade and special fireworks is to get a ticket to the event?

    Hi Teresa!

In the past years the parades and fireworks for the great Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party are special for that event only. It likely will continue to be that way but Disney can change that at any time so it is not set in stone.

The parade that night is one of my all time favorite Disney parades. The ghosts from the Haunted Mansion come alive on floats and the gravediggers come down the streets using their shovels as they spark along the pavement. Of course one of the highlights is the Headless Horseman who precedes the parade as he trots through the park on the parade route.

The fireworks show is themed to the holiday with special visuals on the castle and holiday music accompanying the show.

Again these shows were special for the party event in the past years and I will assume it will continue. Non party guests are not allowed to stay in the park to watch either of these so be aware of that.
