    For the Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween after hours celebration a) Are all of the rides still open? (b) How does attendance compare to normal park hours and (c) will disney transportation still be provided back to the resort? Thanks

    Hi Manly,

    Welcome to the Moms Panel!  I LOVE Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP)!!  Most of the popular rides are open. Here are the rides that were open during the 2010 dates:

    * Swiss Family Treehouse
    * Pirates of the Caribbean
    * Magic Carpets of Aladdin
    * Splash Mountain
    * Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
    * Haunted Mansion
    * Hall of Presidents
    * Peter Pan's Flight
    * Carrousel
    * Dumbo
    * Mickey's PhilharMagic
    * Snow White's Scary Adventures
    * Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
    * Tomorrowland Speedway
    * Astro Orbiter
    * Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin
    * PeopleMover
    * Space Mountain
    * Stitch's Great Escape
    * Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor

    Be sure to pick up an official MNSSHP Guide when you enter the Magic Kingdom to confirm this year's schedule of events. In the past, I've seen the special event maps posted on unofficial Disney websites within hours of the first night of the event.

    They limit the number of tickets to each MNSSHP event so attendance is typically lower. There will be some dates for MNSSHP that will likely sell out (i.e., Halloween) so I would imagine those event nights will be more crowded than some of the other MNSSHP evenings.

    Transportation will be provided back to your resort following the event.  I always double check the transportation schedules with my resort concierge before heading out to MNSSHP so I can plan the best method to get back to my resort.  Last year we hung outside the gates for so long talking with friends that we almost missed the last express monorail back to the Ticket & Transportation Center.

    Let us know if you have any other questions about MNSSHP - its so much fun!

    Wishing you minnie spooktacular memories :-) Allison
