    Mickeys Not So Scary, what time is parade & other events? I have 7pm reservation for O'hana, which I'd rather not lose, but don't want to miss anything at the MNSSH, help!

    Hi Melissa,

    Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) is one of my favorite events at the Magic Kingdom!

    MNSSHP is held 7:00 p.m. to midnight on select evenings. Although they haven't released the schedule for the parades & fireworks for the 2011 dates, here is the schedule from the 2010 dates:

    * Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade: 8:15 p.m. & 10:30 p.m.
    * Happy HalloWishes Fireworks: 9:30 p.m.
    * Disney's Villains Mix & Mingle: 7:45 p.m., 8:50 p.m., 10:05 p.m. & 11:15 p.m.
    * Special Disney Character Appearances 7:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.
    * Trick-or-Treating throughout the party
    * Character Dance Parties throughout the party

    Be sure to pick up an official MNSSHP Guide when you enter the Magic Kingdom to confirm this year's schedule of events.  In the past, I've seen the special event maps posted on unofficial Disney websites within hours of the first night of the event.

    If you keep your reservations at 'Ohana, you will likely miss the first hour or more of MNSSHP.  If you have to decide between the two, MNSSHP gets my vote.  I love 'Ohana but its open 365 days a year.  MNSSHP is only held a few evening each year.  Because you'll be paying extra for MNSSHP I'd want to be there to take full advantage of all the special events.  Its super fun and while 5 hours may seem like enough time to see it all, the times flies and its over before you know it.

    Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
