Hi Karen and welcome to planDisney!
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of my favorite special events at Walt Disney World! I love to see all of the fall decorations around
Magic Kingdom Park and we also love to attend the party to celebrate all things Halloween. My kids have such a good time trick-or-treating around the park and I love the parade, stage show and beautiful fireworks.
Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade is my favorite parade in all of Walt Disney World because I love seeing the gravediggers and ballroom dancers from the
Haunted Mansion come alive and dance down the street.
Guests attending the party are encouraged to come dressed in a costume, but there are a few rules. You can check those out under the official
costume guidelines for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. I spoke with a friendly Cast Member about what time Guests can start wearing costumes and was advised that 4:00 PM is the earliest you can transform since a party ticket gets you into the park at 4:00 PM. Party Guests who will be entering the park prior to that time are considered day Guests and fall under the standard theme park dress code. There are lockers for rent if you would like to store your clothing after you change and then you can pick up your belongings at the end of the night.
As a reminder, if you are planning on entering the park prior to 4:00 PM, you must have regular day admission and a
theme park reservation to do so.
Please
stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Have a spooktacular day!
