Happy Halloween, Alina!
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a must-BOO for me each year! The family-friendly Halloween celebration at
Magic Kingdom Park is by far my most favorite special event at Walt Disney World Resort.
Madame Leota's crystal ball is still a little hazy when it comes to seeing any Halloween Party dates on the calendar for 2021. The event was put on pause last year, and the Happy Haunts haven't yet decided if they are going to materialize for this year's celebration. I'm keeping a close eye on the
Disney Parks Blog, as that's where you'll find the most up-to-date announcements and information about this spellbinding special event.
Even though there wasn't an "official" Halloween party last year, my friends and I still had the most SPOOKTACULAR time when we visited last October! Magic Kingdom Park was decorated with lots of fall finery, and there were tricks and treats at every turn. While there wasn't a Boo to You Parade, there were Character Cavalcades throughout the day, with favorite Disney friends (and villains) decked out in their Halloween best. My favorite ghostly cowboys, the Cadaver Dans Barbershop Quartet, could be found throughout the day in Frontierland, with Halloween-themed songs and jokes for the Guests. Fun tip: If you look carefully at each of their costumes, there's a clue to how they "died"! Delicious Halloween-themed treats were offered at numerous locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort - I think we sampled them all! My favorite was the Frozen Apple Cider at
PizzeRizzo in Disney's Hollywood Studios.
I hope there will soon be news from the great beyond to let us know if the Grim Grinning Ghosts will be coming out to socialize this year!
Your Ghost Host,
Diane W.
