Well then Mickey’s not so scary Halloween party going on this year and if so what’s the date

"Boo to you," Stacey! I sure hope we get to hear that catchy theme song at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year!

At the present time, the Walt Disney World Resort has not announced if Mickey will be hosting his frightfully fun Halloween party this year. Like you, those of us at planDisney excitedly await the news as this is one of the best events held all year at Magic Kingdom Park! My family enjoys this party so much that we typically make the party our Magic Kingdom visit during our vacation!

Should Mickey decide to proceed with the party, past experience tells us that the first party date could occur as early as mid-August! That has served as the start date for the past few years. The party is held on select nights in August, September, and October through Halloween night! Occasionally, there will even be a Halloween party held on November 1st! Dates are subject to change each year.

If the party is held this year, we will most likely hear the news shared in two places. First, check the Walt Disney World Resort website  over the next few months. I also expect we will hear news on the Disney Parks Blog! These two sources have served as the best and most reliable source of Walt Disney World Resort news.

While Mickey did cancel his party in 2020, he, Minnie,  and all of their pals did host some fun Halloween events last fall! Guests could look forward to seeing their favorite Disney characters dressed in their Halloween finest throughout the Disney Parks! There were fall decorations at the resorts and in the parks as well! One of the highlights of the season was that Minnie hosted a Halloween-themed dining experience at Hollywood and Vine in Disney's Hollywood Studios! Of course, nobody can throw a dining party quite as well as Minnie Mouse! Additionally, many dining locations offered fun Halloween-themed treats for Guests to enjoy!

Stacey, check back regularly to see what Mickey and Minnie are planning for Halloween 2021! It's an especially spooky time of year at the Walt Disney World Resort!
