Boo to you, Melinda! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!
It's officially spooky season at
Walt Disney World Resort! The first
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party of the year took place a few nights ago, and it sounds like it was a frightfully fun time for all who attended. I'll be visiting for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party with some of my planDisney friends later this fall, and we're currently working on our
costumes and making our list of must-try
Halloween treats.
Your
MagicBand has access to all of the information in your
My Disney Experience account. So as long as you link your Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets to your account, you'll be able to use your MagicBand to enter
Magic Kingdom Park for the event. Just in case you still need to link those tickets to your account, I'll walk you through the process. It's super easy, and you'll be on your way to trick-or-treating right down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A. in no time.
When you purchase tickets to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, you will receive a confirmation email. Once you have that email, open your
My Disney Experience mobile app and click on the three lines at the bottom-right of your screen. From there, select "Tickets and Passes." Next, you'll want to click on "Link Tickets & Passes," and then select "Type ID." Under the "Admission Media" heading you can type in the confirmation ID Number from your ticket purchase email. If you have purchased multiple party tickets, you'll be prompted to assign each ticket to a Guest from your My Disney Experience Family & Friends List. Once this is completed, your Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets will be linked to your account and each Guest who has a ticket assigned to them will be able to use their MagicBand to enter the park for the party.
Melinda, I hope you have a frightfully fun time at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! Be sure to check out our
planDisney tips for this event over on the
Disney Parks Blog. If we can answer any other questions as you get ready for your trip, come visit us again. Wishing you a spooktacular Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
