Hi Alyssa,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm thrilled you are planning to attend
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. It's my favorite Special Event at the Walt Disney World Resort. I love to go with family and/or friends and find fun costumes to wear. Whether you choose themed shirts or full costumes of your favorite characters, embrace your Disney side! If you do decide to dress up, check out the
Official Costume Guidelines to be sure your ideas fall within the guidelines.
Unfortunately, you cannot enter
Magic Kingdom Park at 3 P.M. with a ticket for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Your party ticket guarantees entry at 7 P.M. for the party. In the past, people have found themselves able to enter the park earlier than 7 but it is not guaranteed. Just like people without tickets for the party can't make dining reservations in the park after the party begins, those with party tickets can't make dining reservations in the park before the party begins.
I'll be honest, we never make table-service dining reservations on a party night. We are always so excited to enjoy the party offerings, we don't want to spend any of the time at a restaurant. The one exception I would consider is
Cruella's Halloween Hide-A-Way. This is a dining event that occurs during Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Cruella hosts this spooky soiree at Tony's Town Square Restaurant. There is a Frightfully Delicious Feast, time with your hostess, and a reserved section for viewing
Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade. If your budget has room, I highly recommend it!
Alyssa, thank you for visiting us with your question. I hope you will let us know if we can help you with any other planning questions before your visit.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Amy H.
