Happy Halloween, Donna! Or, as the song says during the Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party parade, "BOO to you!" I'm glad you brought such a
spirited question to planDisney!
At the present time, Mickey hasn't yet announced if he and Minnie will be hosting a 2021 Halloween party. Last year, the party had to be cancelled due to the need to keep Guests physically distanced. Like you, we at planDisney are hoping to see the return of this ghoulishly grand event at Magic Kingdom Park!
If the past can serve as our guide,
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is hosted on select nights from mid-August through Halloween night...and on November 1st during some years! Tickets for this special event have gone on sale as early as January/February! So, if Mickey is going to host the party this year, we might need to wait a little longer for tickets to go on sale. The two sites to check most often are the
Walt Disney World Resort website and the
Disney Parks Blog. These are the most reliable sources for up-to-date news regarding the Walt Disney World Resort. If there is an announcement made, it will be made in these two places!
Of course, our pals love Halloween so much that they still made last year a special time to visit! Minnie hosted a Halloween Dine at Hollywood and Vine at Disney's Hollywood Studios! Being the swell guy that he is, Mickey showed up to add some fun to the party! Many of our favorite Disney Characters showed off their frightful fashion by wearing Halloween costumes! The Disney Parks were also decorated for the season! Magic Kingdom Park, with its Mickey-shaped pumpkins enclosed within a wreath of fall colored leaves, is still one of my favorite sights during the season!
